Video Streaming Offerings

• Option 1: (Closed Event) Video streaming can be controlled to allow only registered users to participate. This option is ideal for private events or lectures.
• Option 2: (Open Event) This option is ideal for events that are open to anyone. Conferences and auctions that need exposure to a wide audience from all over the world can benefit immensely with live video streamed through www.livevideostreaming.co.za.

• The event coordinator is assigned administration rights for the event, (click here to go to Register User Page).
• Under the tab Prepare Quote the event coordinator requests a quote for time period, date and users. The quote is based on the number of users and time required for the event. The quote is prepared and sent to the coordinator, (Click here to go to Prepare Quote Page).
• A quote is sent to the coordinator who may then accept and proceed to make the required payment as per the quote.
• Following the step by step procedure on the portal, the administrator can schedule the event on the calendar and book the time slot. The time is allocated and number of users as per the quote are loaded onto the portal. The coordinator of the event can now schedule the event (date and time) based on the time and number of users in his approved quote, (Click here to go to Schedule Event Page).
• The event coordinator can select single or co-branding of the display for the event.
• The participants in the event are required to register on the portal and request (in their user profile) to participate in the event.
• The event coordinator receives the list of users requesting access. The users will ONLY be able to participate if the event coordinator activates them.
• The event coordinator will then setup the hardware and software requirements on his laptop/computer. The set up requirements and procedures are available under the tab "Important links and downloads".
• On the scheduled day of the event, the event coordinator logs on to the portal, selects the event he wishes to video stream and activates the video streaming and interactive text event.
• The event will then be transmitted and the users can send live text messages to the portal during the live video streaming.
  

• The event coordinator registers online as a user and is assigned administration rights for the event; (Click here to go to Register User Page).
  
• The event coordinator requests a quote for time period, date and users under the tab Prepare Quote.
  
• Based on the number of users and time required for the event, the quote is prepared and sent to the coordinator; (Click here Prepare Quote Page).
  
• The coordinator can accept the quote and pay the fees required for the event.
  
• The super administrator will then activate the administrator of the event who can then schedule the event on the calendar and book the time slot on the portal.
  
• The time as allocated and number of users in the quote is loaded onto the portal. The coordinator of the event can now schedule the event (date and time); (Click here to go to Schedule Event Page).
  
• The event coordinator will then setup the hardware and software requirements on his laptop/computer(following a step by step procedure driven by the portal).
  
• The hardware needs to be setup based on specific hardware requirements and setup of the software required to video stream the event. These setup procedures are available under the tab Important links and downloads.
  
• On the scheduled day of the event, the event coordinator logs on to the portal, selects the event he wants to video stream and activates the video streaming and interactive text event.
  
• The event will then be transmitted and the users can send live text messages to the portal during the live video streaming for the event coordinator to consider and respond to.
  

It must be noted that the video streaming quality and lag time of the transmission is very dependent on the connection quality of both the transmitting user and that of the end user.
